WHO WE ARE
Calvary is a Spirit-filled, Bible-based Apostolic church in the heart of Bradenton, Florida. Founded in 2020, we are passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and walk in their God-given purpose.
As an Apostolic church, we are committed to the teachings of the New Testament church. We believe in the oneness of God, the saving power of Jesus Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives today.
No matter your story — there is a place for you here.
OUR VISION.
We long to see the glory of God fill our city — not just in word, but in power, love, and transformation. Our vision is for Bradenton to experience the Kingdom of Heaven right here on earth: homes restored, hearts healed, lives made whole, and people walking in the purpose God created them for.
A 1st Century Church in the 21st Century — rooted in the doctrine, practice, and power of the early Church found in the Book of Acts. We believe the Spirit that filled the upper room, the gospel that was preached in the streets, and the miracles that followed the apostles are still alive, still available, and still our example today.
We value the presence of God above all else. Just as the 1st Century Church turned cities upside down with the message of Jesus, we believe that Bradenton can be transformed by that same Spirit — one prayer, one family, and one act of faith at a time.
We won't settle for less than a real experience with God — not for us, and not for the people of our city. Everything we do — from Sunday worship to midweek prayer is with this vision in our hearts:
In Bradenton as it is in Heaven.
OUR MISSION.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” — Isaiah 6:8
Our mission is simple: to be a people who respond to God with “Here am I.”
Revival begins with us.
Change begins with us.
Prayer begins with us.
Holiness begins with us.
Evangelism begins with us.
We believe God is still looking for willing hearts — people who will surrender fully, live boldly, and carry His presence into their homes, workplaces, schools, and streets.
We are not waiting on someone else to bring revival to Bradenton. We are saying, “Lord, send us.”
